Refund & cancellation policy

This policy applies to professional engagement fees for financial audits and related assessments of accounts payable automation applications commissioned from API Index Path. Website content is free; there are no product shipments or software subscriptions sold on this site.
Eligibility overview
Refunds relate to deposits and fees paid under a signed engagement letter. Informal website enquiries do not create fees or refund rights.
Deposit
A deposit (typically 40% of the engagement fee) is invoiced when the engagement letter is signed. The deposit reserves fieldwork dates and covers planning time.
Cancellation by the client

Cancellation by API Index Path
If we cancel an engagement for reasons other than client breach or failure to provide agreed access, you may choose a rescheduled date or a full refund of amounts paid for undelivered work.
Rescheduling
One reschedule with at least 7 days’ notice is accommodated without fee when calendars allow. Short-notice rescheduling that causes wasted travel may incur recovery of non-refundable travel costs approved in advance.
Non-refundable items
- Work already delivered (draft or final reports issued)
- Third-party travel booked with your prior approval once tickets are issued
- Time spent on factual clearance rounds already completed
No-shows & access failure
If scheduled on-site sessions cannot proceed because agreed access, escorts, or extracts are not provided, that day may be charged as performed. Repeated access failure may lead to suspension of the engagement with fees due for work to date.
Partial refunds
Where an engagement is narrowed by mutual written agreement after kickoff, the fee may be re-quoted. Any reduction already paid flows as a credit or partial refund of the unused portion.
Refund process & timing
Email refund requests to info@apiindexpath.digital with your engagement reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method where possible, or by bank transfer to the paying entity.
Method
Refunds are issued in the currency of the original invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.
